We are excited and energized to begin the 2026–2027 school year, and we cannot wait to see our students back in the classrooms. Please review the important start dates and schedule details below.
🗓️ CARES Program Start Details
- First Day of School: Thursday, September 3, 2026
- Arrival Time: Students must report no later than 9:00 AM
- Early Dismissal: Both Thursday, September 3, and Friday, September 4, will be early dismissal days.
🗓️ Adult Classes
- Tentative Start Date: Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, I am excited to welcome back our students and families. On Thursday, September 4, 2025, we will open our doors for the first day of school, with early dismissals on September 4th and 5th. Whether you are new to New Brunswick Public Schools or returning, you are an important part of our school family.
I hope this message finds you and your family well as we prepare for another exciting school year together. I want to share that the Board of Education has officially renamed Woodrow Wilson School as Robert J. Boyler Elementary School, effective immediately.
